This album is doing it for me. Release The Sunbird is basically Zach Rogue from Rogue Wave. They have released four albums and a great EP but for whatever reason Zach wanted to work on a side project and write music that pretty much harked back to the simple splendor that was Rogue Wave's first two albums. Release The Sunbird's 'Come Back To Us' is nothing but sweetness - one that strangely reminds me of my childhood growing up on a farm. Maybe it's something to do with the lovely harmonies, or the shimmery acoustic guitars, I don't know. Whatever it is, it's working.

August chill post
